I just now noticed your comment, DH ... gawd I miss hangin' out with you!!
No question about it, they're trucks!
Ugh - I hate this blog site - can't edit the above post and add a pic, apparently you have to add the pic when you initially post it. Grrrr
I chuckle every time I see this pic of all the kids together - they all look SO enthused about having their pic taken ...
Good idea about the CS - might be good for him to have to take full responsibility like that so he clearly understands WHY he doesn't want to drive w/o a license again!
Congrats on the job -- call or email me when you get a chance!
Oops - forgot to thank you for the phone scam tip!!
Twins are strange! LOL I have twins in my family as well - brother & sister. It's a bit eerie because even in adulthood, when something happens to one twin, usually within 24 hours the same (or frighteningly similar) thing happens to the other.
Well - contacting support through the only contact email listed within this website proved to be pointless. I'm not at all impressed with this site.
You never "add to" any problem in my life - as a matter of fact, you were the only bright spot. I guess I don't understand, but will only say to take care and may God watch over you all.
You are not alone, girl ... and my door is open to you 24/7. I know the hell you're going through and am always here for you - whether I am in "T" or "D" - Larry says the same thing, our door there is always open to you. So, either scoop the boys up and c'mon over or take a little break from it all and come over yourself .. coffee's always on, ears are always open and shoulders are always ready for a cry and arms are always open for a hug. Don't let these people take your power, hun.
I'll do my best - and thanks. I'm a pretty caring person, so it wasn't so hard at first trying to be understanding of what he was going through after returning from Iraq, etc. but after a while it's just wore me down to the point where there's pretty much nothing left inside.
Hang in there, Dawn ... try to look at this as sort of a "test". You have the strength and courage within you to rise above this crap and to walk away from it all feeling good about yourself. Don't you dare let anyone have control over your thoughts or emotions. Self-possession, baby!
Not the manager's fault, folks - I am the previous GM. Lay this crap on the owner's head and his alone as according to him, "he" can't make a profit having the front desk staffed 24/7 and putting it bluntly, he doesn't give a damn about anyone else. I believe I was fired because I tried to fight him on letting all my staff go like he told me to - I wouldn't do it and told him it wasn't right, these people have families to take care of and bills to pay. His response? "Not my problem!" But one thing I didn't tell my staff is I tried to save their jobs by going to Corporate (over top of the owner's head) - I may be wrong, but I have this gut feeling Corporate came down on him and this is why the sudden changes. One thing's for sure - owner doesn't like being argued with or being asked to treat others with respect.
