Stan

Stan is married and has a son, Danny, and daughter, Krista, which makes me a granddad, twice over. It's a good family. He's married to Lacie and all in all, they're as perfect a family as I could tell you about. They spend most of their spare time together. The parents always make time for their kids affairs, and believe me, these days there are a lot of activities that kids have. They're in all the sports all year around. This is California with mild weather, so they're outside most of the time. Except when they're not, like music lessons and dance which Krista takes. They're so busy, don't ask me who takes care of the dog. Guess they all do. It's a good thing it's a very easy going dog. Doesn't take much to keep it happy. It was neutered at the pound where they got it. It. Maybe I should refer to the little fella as he. He's a mutt. Kind of brownish with shaggy hair.

Well, this article started out as one about Stan, and I have wandered around talking about the dog. About Stan — Hahaha.. Well, he was always an easy kid, just like the dog. He got along with all the kids as he was growing up. The one bad patch was when his mother and I were going through the divorce. He was pretty shaken up when that happened. He was fifteen. That's a hard time of life naturally with all the changes. It made me feel bad for him because he was an innocent bystander.

Stan got back on track relatively easily. He had his ups and downs for awhile, but so did we all. Divorce is hard, even when it's amicable. As I said before, he turned out pretty well. Good job, good family. What more could I hope for.
