Well, I dislike the fact that my first post here will be on the rough side, but I live in Chino Hills, CA and we just had a huge earthquake. I've lived in this area for most of my life and I've never felt anything like this. It was hard, and it was long. Let me put it this way. The earthquake felt very strong and it lasted about a half minute. That may not seem like a long time, but it seemed to go on forever. While people were holding on for their lives, things were flying off the shelves and other things were falling, things like lamps. There is litter everywhere in my home. I don't know what the grocery stores are like. The television stations here are all covering it. The magnitude was 5.8 and it was located about 6 miles below the surface. I can't believe there is no major damage and no injuries. I'm glad if that's true. Came home early to check things out.
When I chose the user name Moonshine, I didn't know that right before my first post I would need some. Well, I'll go see what else needs putting back on the shelf or in the cupboards. Later.
Found a map to show where the epicenter is. Editing to add this map.
