I was at a Chinese Restaurant for Dim Sum and the English-challenged servers didn't seem to understand my repeated requests for more water. Finally, I pulled out my cell phone, used Google Translate, and pulled this up on the screen, and showed it to the lady:
è¯·æ›´å¤šçš„æ°´
I then got my water right away and the server was even amused.

That's one of the best uses for the cell phone I've heard of in a long time. Now I'm sitting here thinking about what it takes to get Chinese script to appear here on MyBloggers.

Troutbend, I went to translate.google.com on my computer, repeated what I did on my android phone, then copied the Chinese letters and pasted them into MyBloggers.

Geez... I love the local Chinese buffet. The staff is all right off the boat, but they usually understand the basics! That is cool tho! Some day we'll all have a "universal translator".
