I talked to my friend this evening and she told me that Patrick Swayze is fighting pancreatic cancer.

All the celebrities that we known and loved when we were younger, seemed to be slowly fading away. Very depressing.

It just makes me think that we are not getting any younger and we have to fight to keep ourselves healthy.

Back when we were kids, we thought we were all invinsible and could take on the world. Even for myself back then, I was in ballet and tap dancing, pretty athletic in school, took on the violin, viola, chello, was in orchestra, was in chorus class, and was in the 6th grade talent show.....and our family was struggling to pay bills, etc. Now, I smoke cigarettes, I don't exercise, I eat junk food, I have Crohn's disease (don't worry, I'm not contagious lol!), have scoliosis in my back, and my teeth are slowly rotting away.

These days, we have to watch what we eat, exercise more, and draw our minds to more positive things instead of negative, because just like our bodies....our minds need to be exercised as well.

I think it is about time I get out of this slump and begin to get more healthier somehow.....well at least start it more when this cold goes away......after all, I am not getting any younger....
