Back to Old Drawing Board

Well, here we go again! Earlier today, the teacher that usually calls to tell me what is going on called me and told me what my son did today. This time, it started when he got off the bus going to the school.
He apparently, pushed two of the kids that were getting off the bus, then while he was sitting on a chair in the corner for his actions, the teacher had walked towards him because he was acting out badly. The next thing you know, the teacher gets kicked and punched by my son. Then, to make it worse, he pissed on the floor on purpose! Get this, my phone call from the teacher was around 10:30am. School for him, starts at 9am!
He is suspened from school tomorrow. Not a pending suspension like in the past where I have to go up there and try to talk to them and then send him back to class. But completely suspended. She didn't even ask me to take that hour and fifteen minute bus ride up there because she knows that I am sick as well. She just told me that "I should get some rest, take care of that cold, and drink plenty of liquids."
I honestly don't know what else to do with this kid. I think I might have to resort back to finding some couseling for him at a treatment center or something because this is just too much.
Since it was nice out, I sat on the porch and waited for him to come home. I was going to ask him how his day was and see if he told me the truth. Well, as soon as he got off the bus, I didn't have yo ask, he said that he had a good day. Ha! Busted! I was calm about the whole thing and trying to talk to him instead of raising my voice. I said to him that was not what I was told earlier on the phone. He says "Let me quess, you talked to a teacher." (which sounded more like I was talking to another adult, so it was a bit out of his character).
I explained about what I heard and asked him why. Once again, he couldn't really tell me because he said that he didn't know why he did any of those things. Sometimes he can remember and sometimes he can't...or doesn't want to tell me. I eventually get it out of him. Moms know how to do that...well not tonight I couldn't.
But he knows that he is grounded tomorrow and he was for this evening as well. Tonight I made him clean up the back room because it was a mess that he left the night before. Instead of going to sleep at 8pm like he usually does on school nights, he was in bed by 7:30pm.
I was suprisingly calm talking to him. I think that I was just so pissed off at him that I had no choice to be calm without giving my two cents that could of probably hurt myself as well...so I just took it with stride. That's all I could do.
Where's an alcoholic beverage when you need one?

Oh me--you do have a problem. Counseling and an alternative school may be the answer. I think that he needs more structure than what he is getting in public school. He needs a reward system for good behavior, and he would find that in an alternative environment. Let me know what you think.
