No Winter this year,
That’s what the weatherman said.
Tell the bears,
No need to sleep or over-eat.
Its almost eighty today,
Twenty two days into December .
Think of it all as an extended fall,
Autumn going into summer.
There wont be any leaves to rake.
No snow to shovel or blow.
How does the weatherman know?
I mean for sure?
I hope he’s all wrong
about this global warming thing.
Daffodils and tulips will only grow in the arctic circle next year.
They need the cold you know.
And melting polar caps?
Rising oceans?
Where will New Orleans go?
