New to Blogging

I am so lost. If I do anything silly, please forgive me. I have no idea how this thing is supposed to work.
I ended up here by accident actually. I was looking for a crochet pattern for a horse fly bonnet.
I decided maybe I would try a blog of my own.

All I have really done so far is read some of your profiles. Everyone seems to be very nice and I have noticed several people with similar intrests as mine.
