Season Tickets

I guess you could call this a travel into the future, though it is the near future. Holly and Bevan sat down Sunday and booked their hotel reservations for next fall's home football games in Norman. Â We have had a book of six season tickets that we purchased when Bob Stoops was hired.
In the interim Â between Switzer and Stoops, I had given up my season tickets out of disgust during the John Blake days; but we had a good feeling about the hiring of Bob Stoops. Â It proved to be the right feeling. Â Trying to get season tickets now requires getting on a waiting list that can last years. 75,000 of the seats in the stadium are now held by season ticket holders. The remaining 20,000 go to students and the visiting team.Â
Some years we have sold our tickets, making a very nice profit. Â However, next year could be another "national championship", providing everyone stays healthy. Â So I think we'll keep them this year.Â
Can hardly wait until September!

We are enjoying the college bowl games, and like Marta, I pay more attention to the Sooners because of the interest you and Jeri have in them. We'll all look forward to September.

When the Bowl games end, I always have this feeling on Saturday of what am I going to do with my day until college football begins again. Then I get into women's basketball at OU and I'm okay until that ends.
