While I'm sure the congressman made a convincing case for impeachment against Bush I have to tell you that I won't be reading it. I've heard all the arguments made by Left wingers at the blogs. They're really not worth commenting on. The President is granted certain powers and no one can prove that he did not use them to the best of his ability - you can argue all you want over his lack of ability.
Have you considered the implications for future Presidents if we allow Bush to be dragged before the synod of the self-righteous Left for trying to do his duty>

Well then EJ let me put it a little differently. If your husband was a regular attendee at KKK rallies would you go with him? And if you did go do you think you would be effected after 20 years?

Trinity Church is a Black Nationalist organization 1st and a church 2nd (if at all). I don't really expect all the gentle white ladies who've commented here to be able to grasp the evil of Wright and his message.

I guess you should be commended for attending church for the sake of your husband when you can't personally relate. Nothing could drag me into an indoctrination center on a regular basis. It's torture enough for me to attend weddings and funerals.

Out of his mind.

Now please don't get me wrong. I don't wish to offend but haven't you noticed that there is a reverse side to Obama's embracing his "blackness"? He spent 20 years sitting in a "church" that rejected his "whiteness" with bitter, hateful speech. Try to get it. Skin color is everything to the Obamas!

No. I'm not comparing Hitler to Obama. I'm saying that the political tactics of the two are very much alike. Hitler modeled himself as a god and Barack is wrapping himself in religious imagery. The goal of both men is/was to make the people subject their wills to a greater - supernatural - authority.

Angry white women ain't $hit. I saw a real crime documentary last week that showed a black woman strangle a white man to death for a pack of cigarettes. I don't know how many years have passed (at least two) but she still hasn't been captured.

It's silly to believe Barack's words that he will "do anything in my power to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons". All he really meant is that he would say anything necessary about Iran to get himself elected.

Great. Now I have a "real" choice. The lesser of four evils.

I can't speak for Bush. He's certainly done some awful things but I'll bet your list and mine would not agree at all.

Everyone who votes should have, and talk openly, about their political views. Inform and be informed - otherwise you shouldn't show up at the polls.
I don't believe I've ever been unkind to any gay person. I don't have any reason to.

I always expect to get a whippin' when I come to your cite. Guess I caught you on a good day.

It's terrible alright. But I'll bet you're standing in the front row when it comes to protesting America's war to free Iraq's people from from Sadam's murderous regime and to establish a peaceful nation. Wouldn't you just love for us to go into Gambia and put an end to the abuses of gays there? Have you forgotten that Sadam was murdering gays too? Maybe today you don't want us to invade Iran to save Israel. But if tomorrow you discovered he was murdering gays that opinion would change wouldn't it? You don't have to worry about that though. Iran has no gays.
I don't write at your site very often because you have only one issue and you are hopelessly unreasonable in your differences of opinion. I wrote today because on occasion someone needs to come by and add a different perspective in case more open minded people happen by.

Your English is actually quite impressive. I always take it as an honor when someone makes the effort to learn my language.
You want me to define what a Leftist is? That would take more time than I have to spare but I'll try to give you a sense of it. You might know them by other English terms: Liberals, bleeding hearts, star gazers or quite a few terms. Leftist thought is ruled by good intentions and the emotions of the heart. This leads liberals to the belief that socialism and communism are good things since they seem to solve the problems of social inequality. Unfortunately communism is a wreckless and false ideal because it is built on the notion that people are essentially good and will work to provide for all rather than for their own personal advancement. It's not true and while socialism may work for a generation or two it always evolves into something else or collapses completely.
Holland, I believe, is among the most socialist of all Western European countries. I'm interested in learning how well your society is progressing under these conditions. I'm also interested in learning about the effect of the mass invasion of Europe by Islamists. I hope you will express yourself at our blog a great deal more often.

You are probably right to criticise Jammeh and Gambia's bigotted policy in general. My point is the irony of Leftists (there are very few Right leaning gays) and their lack of interest in the slaughter of innocents until the innocents being murdered share their own class identity. When I said "I love it" I was talking about the irony that seemed so obvious to me.

I love it. No one on the Left is ever going to mention the heads that have been lopped off of thousands of other innocent non-Muslims. But let them touch one fair hair of a gay person and baby we're going to war! Do you think maybe you could work a little balance into your thought processes? And could you make the effort to notice the bigotry in your own eye before you accuse others?
