Yes they did breed like rabbits. Thomas Colling {the 1820 settler} had 14 children! No Tv in those days.
You said you did rent a cart and had your clubs on it, but who was driving it?
I'll do my best but I will be away till the end of September, so will write when I get back. I'm leaving my laptop at home!
Hi Solitaire, Don't give up your writing. I have just joined and it was your bog that caught my eye. I am new to this sort of thing and maybe you can give me a few pointers. I will tell you a little bit about myself. I was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and imigrated to South Africa in '82. I lived in Joburg for 20 years and after my divorse, I moved to the Western Cape (about an hours drive from Cape Town. I live in a little town called Villiersdorp and I feel that i could have a goldmine of topics to write about......small town idiosyncrasies and all that goes with small town living! It is a beautifull part of the Cape. We are surrounded by mountains and fruit farms and certain varietys of apple and pear trees are in full bloom at the moment. I think it might rival your little patch of paradise. Another thing, don't give up on the dating scene. Like you I am also single and I love it!!! Maybe you and I could date.......the distance is perfect. I like the idea of being on different continants.
Bye for now and look forward to hearing from you. Shelc
