This morning I watched a tape of last night's Bill Moyer's Journal on PBS, and his interview with Robert Wright who has written a book about the evolution of God. It was thought-provoking, to say the least. If you are interested you can read a transcript of the interview, or watch it at:

I got a heavy dose of religion growing up. Fortunately I was the last born and didn't get a full blast of the bible. I realized early on that there were too many "thou-shalt-not's" for my self-indulging nature. I'm still a non-believer but curious as to why I'm a minority. When I was young and misbehaving I'd pray to God, just in case he/she really existed. I wanted to cover my bases. Now? I no longer misbehave (ha).
