Good morning everyone!!

Since this is technically my first blog here with mybloggers, I'll tell you a little about myself. :o)

My name is Ashley

I recently just celebrated my 21st birthday.

Finally .

I live in Southern California -- the smog and meth capital of the world. Woo.

I work for a consumer credit management company in the client care center.

I'm not currently in school, but I really really want to go back to college... hopefully to study business and marketing. But somehow I lack the motivation to do so.

I have 7 brothers and no sisters and I'm the oldest. About 14 years ago my mom left an abusive relationship and I've never been in contact with 4 of my brothers that stayed with my step dad. I just recently found them on myspace lol ... so it was nice to see they were doing good and that they remembered me and thought about us as much as we did them.

I graduated high school in 2005 at the top of my class. I played sports and got good grades. I was really smart. I took 4 college courses while still attending high school, but in the summer of 2005 I started drinking alcohol and smoking. I hung out with a new, older crowed that partied 7 days a week. I dyed my hair bleach blonde, and although I recieved a lot of attention from males, no one ever took me seriously. No one believed that I was once a really smart nerd in high school.

And that's how I ended up here, and not in college.

I recently stopped hanging out with those people and I was tired of not being taken seriously. I'm ready to get my stuff together.

I have an amazing boyfriend. We'll call him 'E'. E and I have been together almost a year now and I love him very much. At the beginning, it was very difficult to date him because he is black, and I'm white. But after a couple months, everyone sees how great we are together and they love him too. And now, I cant ever picture being without him. He and I suffered a loss in September of last year. I was pregnant and had a miscarriage. It was both very hard and a blessing all in one. God knew my boyfriend and I weren't ready for a child so early in our life and our relationship. But it was probably the hardest thing I've ever gone through.

My best friends name is Kari and she's the best. She recently moved about an hour away which is sad, but we try to hang out as often as possible. It's so scary when we're together because we act the same, say the same things, sound the same... even our moms cant tell the difference when we're on the phone lol. It feels good to have a friend like that. In all the years I've known her, I don't think we ever fought. Not once have we got in an argument. Crazy.
