What Do You Think of This Top?

It's a western top, meant to go with a flowing skirt, like for square dancing.

Is it fashionable?
Would you wear it?
What would you wear it with?

How do I look in it?

My thoughts are:
I like it, but I'm worried that it is unfashionable. I would wear it with skirts, jeans and dress pants (not the exercise pants in the picture!). I also think it is too short on me. I would make it at least 3" longer. This is the sewing pattern Jean Hardy 1017. It's made with a bed sheet as a (hopefully) a wearable muslin!

I don't know anything about things like this but it does give you a nice "V" look and you certainly have some nice breast bones in front, however I think I like the bottom best
