Dear Gaby I have a friend that is not doing so good. She is in mourning. Her grieving is easily hid by humor and optimistic outlook on life. She is a card-carrying member of AA Alcoholics Anonymous and the PTA. See the dog in the picture...she died. My friend lost in this order and in the past 4 years...
1.Her sanity
2.rational thinking
3.her life..style
4.her Mother
5.her Father
6.her husband
7.her home
8.her friends
9.her in-law family
10. her children/and their lifestyle
11.and financial security
My friend won't reach out for help. She is in fear and
isolates herself, lives in her head, and when she is out in front of people for the most part she is an actress just playing the part she thinks they want to see! Part of the reason she acts that way is her fear if she asks for help once it will soon be twice, three times and people get tired of helping others especially drunks! and when they get tired of her they will leave her.
Dear Gaby...what do I do?
