I’m greatly honored to stand here to make a speech about the topic—my view on sense of responsibility.
From my point of view, the sense of responsibility bases itself on the love of oneself, to others and the society. It’s a kind of basic personality one should have. And it also serves as an impetus to the development of the world.
For us citizens, protecting the environment and enhancing the welfare of society are also our urgent responsibility. I can hardly imagine what would happen if there was no sense of responsibility. Presumably there would be wars everywhere, thus countless deaths. Or perhaps crimes would be rampant here and there. If u don’t want to suffer these, just value your sense of responsibility and fulfill them. Never stop!
As college students, what we need to do now is to work hard on our majors, arming ourselves with knowledge of all kinds; and to mold characters of our own, trying hard to develop our versatility. Although these are obvious, some college students are too self-centered. They seldom care about the responsibility they need to fulfill. It’s a lack of sense of responsibility, which of course results in the downfall of themselves. Having ignored their responsibilities, they regret a lot when they are going to graduate. And therefore if you don’t want to regret like them, just set your sense of responsibility.
In a word, responsibility is different and important, but fulfilling it is more important and meaningful. So when we are in trouble, we can’t drown ourselves in despair. Instead, we should persist and fulfill our responsibilities.
If everyone is willing to fulfill his or her responsibility, then we can conquer everything that’s dangerous, ghast or harmful!
