Doctor just called, Kayleigh has to go into emergency surgery for air in her abdomen, Kind of freaking out right now, I waited 17 years for a sister. Please keep her in your thoughts and I'll send an update if anything changes.

Mom and dad are at the hospital now, I'm home with Bowen.

Update: 11:35pm- Kay just went into surgery, the air could be a couple different things, it could be the intestine they pulled down to her anus didn't survive, in which case she'll have a permanent colostomy. The surgery is estimated at about two hours long. More updates as soon as i hear something.

Update- 12:48am- Kay has another hour of surgery to go, all is going fine so far and then she'll have about 45 minutes in recovery.


Update: 1:24am- Kay just got out of surgery, she had a little leak and they put a temporary colostomy on her other side now for about three months. But all is good and she's headed for recovery. Now I'm going to go crash.
