Lenin famously called those liberals who enabled the Communists to gain power in Russia "Useful Idiots". Liberals also enabled Mussolini's Fascists to gain power in Italy and the leftists in the SA who enabled Hitler to gain power in Germany (the full name of the Nazis is National Socialist German Workers Party). In each case, and many others, the liberals dreams of a socialist utopia became a cruel dictatorship. Yet liberals continue to dream and hope that somehow the next time will be different. Perhaps that is why Lenin called liberals "Useful Idiots"

Redistribution of wealth is another liberal mantra, promote economic equality by taking from the greedy rich and giving to the needy poor. That too has been a failure when tried. A good example is Zimbabwe when farmland was mostly owned by only a few rich farmers and Zimbabwe exported food to the world, now the rich farmers had their lands taken and given to the politically favored poor and Zimbabwe is starving and dependent on foreign aid. Yet liberals continue to dream and hope that somehow the next time will be different. Perhaps that is why Lenin called liberals "Useful Idiots".

Liberals remain eager to embrace the next charismatic leader who preaches redistribution of wealth and dreaming of their socialist utopia. Perhaps that is why Lenin called liberals "Useful Idiots" but Americans should reject these liberal ideas by voting McCain-Palin. Don't be a "Useful Idiot".

Some liberals may resent hearing the name "Useful Idiot". Please don't blame me, blame Lenin. I have never called a liberal a "Useful Idiot". Indeed, I have never even called a liberal "Useful".
