OMG I WON I WON I WON
here's the story
My adv. English teacher was talking about I love to read month and all i of course had my head buried in a book.Until she mentioned a writing contest that if we win we could me JOYCE SIDMAN and a fan and active poetry writer I listen intently for details she my teacher explains that we need to write an original piece of why we should be chosen.Not my thing but I thought i would give it a try.So she said it would be due in 7 days but 2 days later she tells that things changed and it was due tomorrow of course I freak out because I have nothing written.Of course last min I pull something out of my but and giving up hope that I would never win.But the next mourning in homeroom I get a slip pf paper explaining I won the writing contest and I would meet JOYCE SIDMAN and she would help me write and criticize my work.I'm thrilled but also nervous since of the requirements is to write a whole new piece and I have nothing that I can think of that she will like.So I plan to cheek out some of her poetry books from the library and see how she writes and what she enjoys writing about.
