God created Heaven and Earth, all was good.
He created man, told him what he couldn't, what he could
Man lived in the garden, beautiful, serene
The color of the garden was deep dark green
A serendipitous day, man found he had a mate
Woman was created, the rest was fate
A serpent came along, persuaded her to err
It seemed to be the serpent's fault, so was that fair
They looked at the fruit, so tempting, they ate
Sweet and juicy, so fine, but now too late
They were cast in the land to the east
Once they had most, now it was the least
Toil and trouble, trouble and toil
Cinders burn and cauldron boil
Who's the one that we should blame
Who broke the golden rule of the game
It was woman this we knew
It was woman, evil and blue
Not a green dream at all
I am woman.

Who Are You
If I am Woman, who are you
You must be Man, who colored me blue
I am from you, do you recall
A piece of bone, within your heart’s wall
We played, we frolicked, we spent all day
Walking through fields, swimming in the bay
Living in a garden, dark and green
Wholly a part of a never ending dream
Why weren’t you stronger than the serpent sly
Why didn’t you detect his malicious lie
Why was it I who was totally at blame
Was this the beginning of the never-ending game
To be sure....
