God, the Joker
God created a practical joke and He called it earth
It was a perfect plan to give God just and rightful mirth
After a few million years He created man
This was the epitome of God’s marvelous plan
Now He visits me and you for His many laughs
Don’t despair of your troubles, it’s part of many gaffs
That gives God His enjoyment, gives Him such joy
Do you recall how one time He made Sue a boy
The music that is your life is all of ours as well
God did not put on you list of His special magic spell
Listen to the words of Dylan, the soulful sounds of Lennon
They reflect the life and times of the ever present any man
What about the Lincolns, the Kennedys you ask
Were they given by God a exceptional, thoughtful task
Or were they created to be brought down by an insane gun
So we would be more careful and from perceived danger run
So what exactly is God’s Plan, the Plan of YOUR life
It is surely not about pain, despair, and strife
It is just purely fun, a jokesters’s creation
You are just a tiny part of God’s recreation
