A Perfect Rose
Rose is perfect, Rose is sweet
You must always kiss Rose’s feet
She is one of “those†you see
She is not like you or me
She is such a perfect soul
She will never ever grow old
Rose their darling, Rose their wonder
Sometimes I’d like to cast her asunder
Throw her under a moving train
Leave her out in pouring rain
She’s a menace to the normal
She always proper, she’s always formal
Well, she’s not as perfect as they think
Sometimes I think I smell her stink
Perhaps not, but I wish it so
Sometimes I wish all to know
What I think of perfect Rose
When she smells garbage with her perfect nose
When she finds food that is spoiled
When she forgets to have her car oiled
When she says a profane word
When she encounters a dog’s turd
When she bites into a rotten sandwich
When she turns into a wicked damned witch
But of course, these things never happen
No one even bothers her when she’s napping
She lives a life of comfort and ease
She is never hard to please
She makes me want to puke
