An Orange Sky
When the sky is orange, I pine for blue
When alone, I pine for you
When someone calls me a bitch
Sometimes I feel like giving them the ditch
When someone says, “Whatsa matta monâ€
I laugh and respond, “Oh, come onâ€
When someone asks, “What are those forâ€
I make him laugh and we both laugh more
When someone only eats fish sticks
I feel like creating a diet fix
When someone plays his guitar for me
We both sing a simple melody
What did it matter, why did I care
Why did I hope and why did I dare
No one really knows it all
No one knows why I always fall
Why do I always end up in a fix
It is part of my life’s mix
And that is it
