My God
Before I leave I must address my God
Not the ordinary Christian God
Although I am Christian in sect
But my God is so much kinder than some feel
He condemns no one and is forgiving
Not for any particular reason, He just is
I do not fear Him in any way
He will care for me and love me without question
I do believe in His total commitment to overlook sins
I don’t believe He knows that particular concept
I will go to Him with no fear, no reservations
I am not afraid... of anything
For He is in charge and will see to it all
He will prepare for me a cirrus cloud
I will look down and discover the secrets of the universe
I will also look down and see all of your secrets
But I will not judge, for I have not been judged
For I leave in peace and serenity
