Speaking of movies, I happened to see "My Week with Marilyn" last night. MM was portrayed as exceptionally insecure and very high-maintenance. It was a good movie, not without humor, but a sad portrait of a woman whose death has yet to be adequately explained as far as I know.
They are both beautiful kids!!
Wonderful!! I can almost hear "The Swan of Tuonela" by Jean Sibelius in the background.
I can just imagine how limited physicality must be frustrating. Good thing you're a tough cookie, eh? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I can't believe I never heard of Mary Beth Hughes before. She is gorgeous. The photo of your mom and Aunt Frances is wonderful!
Doppleganger!! What a great word.
We keep a litter box in the bathroom, so the cats always have access. They get upset when I use it, though...
If someone in the prosecutor's office doesn't return calls or is otherwise unresponsive, I would go directly to the head of the office and advise him so that he is aware of it. Even now, after the fact, it wouldn't be a bad idea if you haven't already done it. That kind of person needs to be working somewhere else (McDonalds or 7-11, for instance).
I learned to drive in one of those butterscotch colored '54 Chevys.
I was in a room yesterday where everyone was talking about getting guns. I had to bite my tongue. I'm surrounded by gun-loving monosyllabic cretins. My friend down the street has a basement under his garage stocked for Armageddon. No one will bomb Utah, but all the survivors from Vegas will head this way... oh my
Pickup truck woman... sounds like a hit country song.
Are you English speakers now in the minority?
A wonderful post, daDDy!!
"Thirty clip assault rifles don't kill people, people with thirty clip assault rifles kill people." And a lot more than if they didn't have the weapon. For the NRA to respond to the latest school slaughter by saying that schools should have armed guards only shows how sick those gun nuts really are.
I suspect the designer of these things must have flunked Design 101.
