Let's hope Benny gets all the love and attention he apparently deserves. I miss my dogs, but not the vet bills.
Of course I voted for George. The only Democrat I didn't vote for was Carter, second time around. I liked John Anderson! Those "upper midwest" candidates--McGovern, Humphrey, Mondale--never could quite gather enough votes (states) to win a presidential election.
I'm not far behind. I'll re-post this (with name change) next March! Like fine wine, we're "aged". Not all bad. Happy birthday! Enjoy your trip.
I flipped back and forth between baseball game pitches, mostly on Obama's turn. Curious as to how he would do. His spontaneous oration was admirable--much improved--smooth, decisive and coherent. Smash hit!
Foot stompin' music!!! My batch of homemade wine turned out pretty good, but I wouldn't serve it to guests. Enjoyed the tour!
My third daughter is named Emily Grace!!! Best wishes.
Great blood count news. You must be doing something right. Enjoy Santa Fe and tell us all about it.
Good post. While I have a few issues with President Obama (like mixing religion with government) , he definitely has my vote. The alternative is very scary.
Kudos for you. While I love to read, I'm off novels for awhile. Non-fiction has my attention these days.
Where did you find this one?
Whew! I'm worn out just reading about your "dilemma"!! Good luck with making the right decision.
We all need a break every now and then.
You're so lucky to have correspondence saved from ancestors. Despite my genealogy research, I have very little left in writing--and few photos. Today's society is obsessed with picture taking. I noticed when the space shuttle was passing down the street in L.A., EVERYBODY had a camera up!
A subject that elicits many responses. Death, taxes, computer problems--all inevitable. When I leave the house for extended time, I have no computer problems! And furthermore, I don't miss it. (Hence, no cell phone, ipad, etc.)
That is good news. You must be proud of your daughter. May I ask why she's frequently absent, especially if she loves school so much?
