Um, did I miss something? Why is this funny? Another gal's panties?
Great post, Martin. You continue to inspire me as you life your life to it's fullest and enjoy it so readily and now as you plan for the condition of living...death. When my Mother's mother passed away several years ago, her affairs were a total mess and it took literally years to sort it all out. I will admit to having too much stuff but this summer past, had a talk with my parents and Troy (I was about to have surgery and my doctor was scared it was uterine cancer...it wasn't). Troy looked at me at the end of our talk and my discussions on what I wanted, what would happen to the kids, etc. and said, "Girl, you have too much to do. The Big Guy can't take you, yet." Turns out he was right, but it was a good lesson for both of us...don't wait until it's too late.
Ugh...GOOD to me...
Looks pretty go to me.
Um, well, 75 kinda looks, you know, old...And you don't.
Who is his boyfriend? Wait...I don't want to know. We all need to have our dillusions.
I took fish oil for a while at my sister's suggestion (she is a registered holistic nutritionist) because it is supposed to imporive brain function, too. I stopped because it gave me terrible stomach cramps. Maybe why I'm always so scatter-brained?
My little boy loves Toy Story. We haven't seen the third yet, though. Not sure if we will as sequels tend to confuse him.
I just loving living vicariously through you.
Lucky girls!
I can't help but cry at weddings...as soon as someone chokes up, I'm toast. It's just something about being witness to love, isn't it?
Nothing like a nut to ruin a package in the mail.I saw a pretty good Christmas card the other day..."Have yourself a merry little Christmas. Just leave me out of it." Perhaps you could send that to your son-in-law?
I have a dislocating knee...have since elementary school...and I sometimes wear a brace. It really does make a difference.
You don't look 75!
Is it okay if *I* pretend Ricky Martin isn't gay?I'm glad he finally came out of the closet and his reaching out to youth is a wonderful way to give back.
What a cutie.
I have far too many friends like your Dottie. They mostly call me crying about whatever has upset them that day...I do like you do with the "wows" and "uh-huhs" while I read a magazine.
The cake sounds delicious! I have a cake mix in my pantry...maybe I'll make one for the kids after the Halloween treats are gone.
True that.
I tend to have nightmares if I eat before bed.
Maybe you could make cupcakes in ice cream cones instead? My kids always liked those.
I have a basement full of stuff. Every time I try to clean it out, I end up taking a trip down memory lane and don't finish.
