By the same token look at the companies today--there is no such thing as a 'family' feeling that there was in our parent's generation and mine--today the bottom line is more important (not that it hasn't always been)than those who earn the money for them--'perks' are almost non-existent and I hate to tell you but EVERY generation says the same thing about the younger generation! "I'll be surprised if society survives this new crop of self-centered, lazy and irresponsible adults after the burden bearers pass on."
I tend to agree with you. Okay I am OLD but I don't remember what happened 60 years ago let alone 30 unless I have it in my diary and even then I don't recall it all. This is not taking away from what the woman says happened but logic and being fair has to extend to the man in the case. To me it is a shame that the Dems have to play this way to delay the man being passed even though I don't want him on the court but then Anita Hill was treated shabbily so I agree caution and investigation should be done IF need be.

Go for it--don't wind up with 'what if....", "I should have done this!", etc. Time is going to go by--you can either accomplish what you want whether it leads somewhere or not or a few years from now say, "Why didn't I do that back then?". I'm 82 and I think I have done many things I wanted to do--they all didn't work out but at my--way past midlife anything--I am happy with who I am today. GO FOR IT!!!

I basically use blogging as a diary---my closet is full of old-fashioned lined notebooks from 1946!!!
