Wow, you do have a lot going on. Kepp us posted as the campaign runs!
The reason why I was so upset is being able to pass one law against rapists, opens the door to more laws. If child rapists can be givin the death penalty it shows that people are considering how punishment should be givin to those sick types of people. Once that is in place it's a short step to all rapists, not just child rapists. And using a child as an image seems to strike a chord more often than a grown women with the misogonistic asses that make these desicions. All this would have been holly is a foot in the door. And sadly, and the reason why I am pissed is now the toes on that foot are broken, and there is no hope for children or adults that suffer at the hands of rapists. We all have an adgenda on why this upsets us, why are you focused on adult women, instead of all adults?-not attacking, just curious?
we are what are experiences make us to be and grow from the choices we make. If you are comfortable with who you are, then that's all that you need to do, just make sure you are. Great post
I am so sorry to here about your mom. It sounds like she was a big part in your healing and I know that you will always remember her. It's not the length of her life, but how she lived it, and in doing so she will be immortal as long as she is remembered in some way. So weather she has months or years left to go I know that you, and she, and all the people lucky enough to be in her life, will make it the best and let her live on through you
Cute, my mom just had her hard drive crash on her, and she called me freaking out. She haden't backed up one thing on her 'puter in years. Fortunatly I had so as soon as she either gets a new machine or gets this one repaired I can help. Remond your mom if she is saving ANYTHING to back it up or it will be a bigger hastle next time.
Sadly I can't use a Mac, none of my work stuff is compatable *sad* Although as soon as that $20 I planted grows into a little tree I'm switching.....a bit worried that my soil is too sandy for maximum growth.
Happy 4th!!!! Eat a lot and watch some fireworks!
Keep the waffles coming honey and you got my vote!
Hmmm, Mine is to visit Ireland again, To meet Tim Curry and thank him, and to see my son become a scientist after all the dreams he's had about it.
Spooky but cool in a way. My ex mother-in-law collected owls. She was cherokee and raised in a very traditional manner. She always kept them as kind of a talisman to ward against them.
This is the "legand" surrounding them.Three varieties of owls are recognized, each under a different name, viz: tskïlï', the dusky horned owl (Bubo virginianus saturatus); u'guku', the barred or hooting owl (Syrnium nebulosum), and wa`huhu', the screech owl (Megascops asio). The first of these names signifies a witch, the others being onomatopes. Owls and other night-crying birds are believed to be embodied ghosts or disguised witches, and their cry is dreaded as a sound of evil omen. If the eyes of a child be bathed with water in which one of the long wing or tail feathers of an owl has been soaked, the child will be able to keep awake all night.
It's tough dealing with something like that. Up until a few years ago my mother and I were not doing well at all. It wasn't abuse from parents for her, but rather a series of guys that abused her, and me throughout my youth and teen years. there was plenty of negative words and actions to the point that I didn't want my son to be around her. The only reason it got better at all was that she found out that I was diagnosed with cancer (recovered now!) and started fresh with me. Had that not happened I don't know where we would be. Just try as best you can and stay strong
hey hon where's my PM I'm dying to know what you need to tell me
good stuff
Ha ha, sounds like you both got a little wet on this one
